The Nutcracker Ballet

By studying both the Matthew Bourne and traditional versions of the classic Nutcracker ballet, students developed concepts for their own versions of the show.
My concept takes place in New York City at Christmastime. Clara begins her journey in a tattered, monochrome orphanage, but her journey takes her to the Land of Sweets- a magical department store window display come to life.
