Developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, this production of La Finta Giardiniera went through several changes before it was ultimately cancelled. The most major adjustment came from moving the opening date to an earlier time to increase the chances of a full performance, which happened just as the costume build began. The shortened lead time made it necessary to shift the design from a heavy build to purchasing and modifying pieces. Unfortunately, the show was ultimately cancelled, but we were able to complete some of the built pieces to stage a photoshoot. Here you will see the reimagined looks alongside the original full design.
